Founded in 2002 by Dan Brennan, a professional translator and sports journalist, Libero Language Lab boasts what is probably the best team of specialist sports translators in the world. Over more than a decade, we have established a reputation for excellence which has enabled us to build long-term relationships with clients such as the International Olympic Committee and UEFA. We currently work with over 90 language combinations.
What makes us unique?
We are specialists
There are tens of thousands of translation agencies out there, but very few that can truly claim to have a specialist niche. If you have a sports-related translation requirement, and quality is important to you, then Libero should be your first port of call.
Please check out our Testimonials to see what some of our clients have said about us. And feel free to contact us to discuss your needs or request a free sample translation.
In addition to the IOC and UEFA, Libero have worked with a large number of sports and media organisations around the world. Our client list, past and present, includes: FIFA, the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), the International Ski Federation (FIS), the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), Touchline, Arsenal FC, Heart of Midlothian FC, Celtic FC, Middlesbrough FC, Manchester City FC, Tottenham Hotspur FC, FourFourTwo, The Times, the BBC, The Guardian, the Irish Football Association, Fobazo, Sportingbet, World Soccer, Skysports, Credit Suisse, Sportswrites International, Sports Safety Solutions Ltd.
Accent on quality
Each Libero team member is carefully selected for their experience and qualifications. Most of our linguists are accredited by professional organisations, and, without exception, must demonstrate relevant specialist knowledge and experience.
We also work with editors and professional writers, to ensure that your translated texts read as well as the originals and not like ‘translationese’.
